Flower care guide
A perfect sphere of dense bright green, somewhere between moss and velvet. It is a dianthus, and it behaves like one: nearly indestructible.
Green Trick is a dianthus, so cut the stem between the swollen joints rather than through one.
Change the water every three or four days. It asks for nothing else.
It holds its shape and colour long after the flowers around it have gone. When you clear an arrangement, keep the Green Trick and put it in a small vase on its own.
If the green ball collects dust, rinse it gently under a cool tap and shake off the excess.
Green Trick is a carnation relative whose flower petals were bred into fine green filaments, which is why it looks like moss rather than a flower.
