Galas, Benefits and Fundraisers

A benefit has to look generous without looking wasteful, and it usually has to do it on a schedule measured in hours. We design gala and fundraiser florals around the sightlines that matter, the entrance where guests arrive, the stage or podium, the auction tables and the centerpieces that hundreds of people will sit behind all evening.

We work to the budget you actually have. Scale in a large room comes as much from placement and repetition as it does from stem count, and that is where experience earns its keep.

Product Launches, Openings and Brand Events

Launch events ask flowers to do a job. They have to photograph well, hold a brand palette without looking like a color swatch, and survive several hours of people moving past them. We design for the camera as much as the room, because most of the audience for a launch sees it on a screen the next day.

If you are working to brand guidelines, send them over. We can build to a specified palette, and we will tell you honestly when a color is not available in a flower that will hold up that long.

Installations, Entryways and Statement Pieces

Some events need one thing people remember. An entryway arch, a suspended installation over a bar, a run of greenery down a staircase, a floral wall that everybody photographs. These pieces are built in our East Village studio and assembled on site.

Tom Lewis brings a background in horticulture and landscape architecture to this work, which matters more than it sounds. Large installations are structural problems before they are floral ones, and they have to be rigged safely, survive a warm room and come down cleanly.

Working With Your Venue

Most New York venues have opinions about load-in windows, freight elevators, what can be attached to a wall and when everything must be gone. We are used to those conversations and will have them directly with your venue or planner so you are not relaying messages.

Our team handles delivery, installation and strike. When the night ends, the flowers leave with us unless you want them to stay.
